The Personal Foundation course is at the core of LFI’s program. In learning to heighten our own awareness, we can learn to design decisions and make changes relevant to our lives and personalities. Through self-exploration and discovery, participants will learn to empower themselves; help others open up and experience growth; resolve issues; find meaning and fulfillment in all aspects of their lives; and move forward productively with confidence.

Language for Effective Coaching will teach students how to communicate and interact clearly, directly and effectively with their clients. Within the coaching context, participants will utilize the power of words to create clarity in their thought process and breakthroughs in actions and emotions.

Powerful Questioning in the Coaching dynamic will teach participants to ask challenging and powerful questions to evoke authentic, direct, and truthful answers. Questions are often more important than answers, and creating resonance with others will help them open up, leading to creative brainstorming and exploration of options and strategies.

We all learn to speak when we are young, but we rarely learn how to listen. This course will enable participants to tune in and be present in the coaching dialogue. LFI will give participants the tools to learn how to be active, effective and empathetic listeners to create a more sensitive, powerful, and action-oriented coaching dynamic.

Changes, Transitions & Strategies will focus on ways to design road maps for personal and professional purposes and goals. It will teach participants how to get unstuck, move from thought to action, take risks and measure improvement, and build their own lives and work instead of being complacent victims and reliving the past over and over in a stagnant pattern.

The Psychology in Coaching course will allow participants to connect between the coaching relationship and a client’s psychological state in an empathetic context. It will focus mainly on being attuned to the client’s psychological needs, recognizing when to refer to therapy, or work in conjunction with a therapist. It will also focus on cognitive behavior management, as LFI is action-driven and result-oriented.

Meaning and Fulfillment is a follow-up course to Personal Foundation, and is based on the premise that people find happiness, cope with challenging situations, resolve difficulties, and strive for betterment where they create and find meaning. This course will address personal and professional difficulties, such as the sense of emptiness and meaninglessness, and how to take responsibility for shifts.

This course will provide powerful tools for individuals and professionals to resolve dilemmas and clarify their quest for impactful decisions, while emphasizing the value of strong, responsible, visionary decisions. We will learn what good, powerful decisions entail, and how to work through dilemmas, ambivalence and their meaning in a positive and creative process.

Coaching the Executive, the Entrepreneur and the Professional will provide tools to enable participants to identify and distinguish effective coaching for CEO’s, managers, entrepreneurs and other professionals. Different professionals demand different approaches and techniques. Participants will gain better understanding of the needs of small companies vs. large corporations, and other contextual distinctions between various professions and what coaching needs and styles are relevant to them.

This course will explore how leadership influences organizations, and how styles impact how the organization functions, communicates, and performs its intended purposes. Participants will discuss conscious and unconscious aspects of leadership styles through exercises and dialogue.

Insights and Intuition will explore their relevancy to our personal daily life in terms of decisions, views and attitudes, as well as focus on use of intuition in managerial dynamics. We will explore what insights are, how they can be used, what role intuition plays in our daily and professional life, and how to be more attuned to what our “gut feeling” tells us.

The Conflict Resolution course will provide proactive techniques and tools to manage difficult situations and to reach satisfying resolutions. Elements of mediation will be taught, as well as effective communication to analyze conflict; restore trust; simplify and clarify complex situations; create paradigm shifts; change unproductive beliefs; and re-frame thoughts and views in a positive way.

Group Practice will provide a hands-on opportunity to practice coaching in a supportive and supervised environment. Participants will learn the importance of process and introspection, practice how to ask questions, how to listen actively, how to deal with silence, and how to help others.

During the free one-on-one coaching, participants will have the opportunity to discuss any matter in confidence with one of LFI’s instructors. This session will not only provide an opportunity for process but also will address any specific issues, challenges, difficulties, and dilemmas that the participants will bring forth. They will then have the opportunity to continue the process on an on-going basis with preferential rates.
